Roger Bouma is the Managing Broker of The Bouma Group at RE/MAX JAZZ Inc., Brokerage. He consistently receives RE/MAX’s “Chairman Club” award, has been inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame, and was recognized by RE/MAX International for “Lifetime Achievement.”

Roger remains personally involved with all buyers and sellers. His specialty is assisting sellers in determining the highest possible market value for their home, developing and implementing a market strategy that will affect its sale, negotiating the best offer possible, and maintaining contact with the client until the successful completion of the sale.

Roger’s goal is to create totally satisfied clients, and he succeeds time and time again. In fact, most of The Bouma Group’s current sales come from over 34 years of satisfied past clients and their referrals of family, friends, and neigbours. Roger primarily focuses on selling freehold and condominium residential properties in Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Clarington, and the surrounding parts of the Durham Region.

Roger is active in organized real estate, or as he likes to say, organizing organized real estate. Roger was President of the Durham Region Association of Realtors in 2017 and is the 2023 President of Ontario REALTORS Care® Foundation, the charitable arm of close to 100,000 Ontario REALTORS®, from 2010 to 2014. Roger also served as an Oshawa City Councillor.

When Roger is not working, he can be found traveling with his wife, Laura, or spending time with their six grown children, partners, and eleven amazing grandchildren.
