First and foremost a family team
Roger Bouma began his real estate career in late 1989 with much early success. Working as a solo agent with an administrator, Roger grew his business on the simple premise that the clients’ needs always trumped the business goals. This resulted in a growing client list that kept Roger busy.
Meanwhile, in 2003, Roger’s son Mike Bouma graduated from the University of Toronto, earning his B.A. while completing the Ontario Real Estate Association licensing program during his final year. Mike was intent on selling real estate with Roger, and The Bouma Group was formed. The timing was perfect for both Roger and Mike. Together, they quickly moved into the top 1% of REALTORS® in the GTA for total annual homes sold.
From the start, Roger and Mike were intent on keeping The Bouma Group small and not growing this family team into something that might resemble assembly line real estate, as both Roger and Mike want to remain involved in helping their buyer clients buy and their seller clients sell. Of course, their team would be nothing without their amazing, reliable “air traffic controller” (administrator) Holly.
